From first homes to forever homes—and including thoughtfully planned aging-in-place environments—we create spaces that elevate daily living with beauty, comfort, and enduring sophistication. MEET THE TEAM
DOREEN M MORRIS
Founder of Muse Design Studio
I was born in New York City, just across the street from the Bronx Zoo an extraordinary place to grow up. As a child, I truly believed everyone had elephants in their backyard.
My entire professional life has been rooted in Art and Design. I began in the fine arts, then moved into silversmithing, creating my own jewelry line defined by a style I call Rustic Elegance. In 1989, while renovating my first home in New York, I fell in love with Interior Design. That passion quickly grew, leading me toward larger-scale projects and formal studies at Fairfield University in Connecticut, where I continue to deepen my craft.
With more than 30 years of design experience, my journey has taken me through many facets of the industry. I began designing kitchens in 1990 with a small New York firm, eventually taking on my largest project a nine-story, 200-year-old personal residence on Fifth Avenue. That work opened the door to designing a nearby storefront and several commercial kitchens before I ultimately committed myself to residential design. I later spent eight wonderful years on the manufacturing side of custom furniture and cabinetry and co-founded Artisan Home Designs. Today, I am the founder of Muse Design Studio.
Beyond my professional life, I am a mother, grandmother, and lifelong equestrian. In 2007 I bought and renovated a home in Massachusetts and reside here for the past almost twenty years. I have fallen in Love with Boston my new small city.

Jess is our Social Media maniac and photographer. Her background is in Art and Design, Communications and Event Planning. Jess has 4 years experience with a major company’s HR team so she is wonderful with clients. She has become my all around general right hand girl. We are so happy to have her part of our Team. Learning from the ground up she is driven, a wife and a Mom living in Connecticut.
